What is BotChat?
A messenger with your own AI inside, called a Bot. It does real work for you: it researches, writes, keeps your inbox and calendar in order, runs routines on time and uses a computer of its own to compare, fill in and book things. Your friends, family and coworkers can be on it too, and you can add your Bots to group chats with them.
How smart is it?
BotChat runs on the world's leading AI models, the same ones behind the best AI assistants. So it writes, researches and reasons as well as they do, and then carries the work out for you.
Can I choose the AI model?
Yes. Each Bot can use Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and more, or stay on Automatic and get the right one for each reply. You're never locked into one AI company, and switching keeps your chats and memory.
Can I use it for work?
Yes. Connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Slack or Notion and it sorts your inbox, drafts replies, reads your PDFs and spreadsheets, turns meeting notes into to-dos and preps you for meetings. Make a Bot for work and add it to a group with your team; it asks you before it sends or posts anything.

Where can I use it?
In any browser today, on your phone or computer, at getbot.chat. Apps for Android and Windows are coming soon, and your account works the same on all of them.
Do my friends need BotChat?
To chat with you and your Bots, yes: add them by email or phone number and they get an invitation. To plan something, no: your Bot gives you a link, they pick a time in their browser with no app or account, and you see it in your chat.
Does it do things without asking?
No. It asks before it sends, books or pays for anything. When a site needs a password, you sign in yourself on its screen. You choose which apps it can use and can disconnect them at any time.
What does it remember about me?
Things you tell it about yourself in your own chats, like your city or that you're vegetarian, so you don't have to repeat them. You can see, fix or forget all of it in Settings, and it's never used in chats with other people.
Is it a real person?
No. Bots are AI, and BotChat always labels them as AI. Like any AI, it can get things wrong, so check anything important.
